ABOUT
Maison Marron is a luxurious 3 bed house which offers the utmost in comfort and style set in the heart of Perigord Noir.
It has a large heated swimming pool with gardens surrounding the property.
As a south west facing house, it catches the sun throughout the entire day, with it setting on the outdoor, covered dining area.
There is an open-plan layout downstairs, with a modern kitchen, dining area, and cosy lounge and TV (with British Channels).
Upstairs you'll find the master bedroom with an en-suite & Television (also with British Channels), and two double bedrooms, which share a bathroom with a free-standing bath and shower cubicle. There is a separate WC.
Maison Marron has been lovingly built over the last 5 years by a family of 4 from South Wales, who have been returning to this region for the last 2 decades.

OUR ROOMS
The ground floor is open plan but has well defined living, dining and kitchen areas and a separate utility room and downstairs cloak room.
There is a six seat dining table located close to a high quality fully equipped kitchen, which features a breakfast bar and 3 bar stools.
The staircase and landing lead to a master bedroom with a double bed with en-suite shower room with toilet and double sink unit. There is also a walk-in wardrobe and a TV with English and French channels.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds, wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside table with lamps. They share a bathroom with free standing bath, shower cubicle and wash basin. There is also a separate WC.
Patio stones connect the house to a large pool area featuring a heated pool with corner step access. It is 1.2m deep throughout with no shallow or deep end. A pool house provides an outdoor and indoor covered area adjacent to the pool. Parasols and 8 high quality sun-loungers are provided.

British TV
There is a Free sat box in the lounge area, which allows you to watch and record British TV during your stay. British TV also in master bedroom.
Free Wifi
Wifi is available across the house to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
Outdoor Space
Large Gardens surround the house, as well as a sizeable parking area at the front, with ample space to enjoy a game of boules.
Washing Machine
There is a washing machine in the house, along with an iron & ironing board.
Swimming Pool
10x5m heated outdoor swimming pool, with comfy loungers & parasols. There is a pool house with a covered outdoor seating area for 6 people.
Kitchen
Induction range cooker, an american style fride/freezer, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher.

Sarlat la Caneda
This beautiful Medieval Bastide town is the gastronomic capital of the Dordogne. It is just 12km from Maison Maron. It has festivals and food events all year round including a fantastic weekly market. With its beautiful old stone, magnificent architecture and winding streets, there are surprises around every corner.
Chateaux and villages of the Dordogne valley
Along the spectular valley of the Dordogne, a rich heritage can be found of stunning Chateaux perched above the valley, beautiful gardens and breathtaking towns and villages like Domme, Beynac and Rogue Gageac, carved into the rocks.
Activities including Cycling, Canoeing, and hiking
The area is fantastic for truly memorable canoeing trips or cruises along the majestic Dordogne valley.
The area is littered with stunning cycling routes suitable for all abilities through stunning scenery.
